Builds a privacy-first digital layer around Zimbabwe's existing child-protection services, using the technology solution of Safe Child Network Africa (www.safechildafrica.net): a simple reporting and case-tracking system that connects children, schools, communities, police Victim Friendly Units, health facilities and social services, so that no report disappears between agencies.
Child abuse is often hidden inside homes, victims struggle to report safely, and cases are lost between schools, police, clinics and social services because there is no shared way to follow a case.
A June 2026 Newsday report headlined that 62% of child-abuse attacks happen in homes, which means school- and community-based reporting routes and trusted adults matter as much as police response.
A shared case-tracking system used across services, trained focal points, safe reporting channels and measured response times.
Children in 40 schools and communities, parents, teachers, community volunteers, police victim-friendly units, clinic staff and social workers.
