Portuguese-language, mobile-first code camps, teacher training and MakerSpace skills for young people and teachers in Sofala, Manica and Maputo, with eBusiness and eTourism tracks that link community enterprises to customers. Training is offered by Zambesi (www.zambesi.ac.zw). Donors and partners are invited to sponsor training cohorts and to procure kits for schools and community makerspaces. Content works offline and on basic phones.
Four in five Mozambicans are offline and few young people can learn AI, robotics or digital business skills in Portuguese — so they cannot reach online jobs or sell to online customers.
Only 19.8% of Mozambicans use the internet (6.96 million people) while 60.4% live in rural areas; mobile connections equal 50.4% of the population.
Graduates find online work or start businesses, teachers use AI and robotics in class, and community enterprises reach customers through their phones.
About 2,800 people: unemployed youth aged 18–35, 150 teachers, women entrepreneurs and community tourism operators.
